Troup Head
If you’ve ever been to Troup Head, near Banff in Aberdeenshire, you’ll recognise this scene of the sea thrift along the cliffs.
This pattern has four colours for most of the stranded work. For these rows, I found it easier to work each round twice: the first time working the pinks together and slipping the greens, and then slipping the pinks and working the greens, making ample use of ladderback jacquard.
This is a pattern pdf for making a stranded knit hat for an adult, circumference about 55cm.
All proceeds from the sale of this pattern will go to charity.
