This is a very special shawl that was designed for the awesome Lanafactrix to be her wedding shawl.

Tru Wuv is a generous sized crescent knit from the neck down and it only takes one skein of lace weight yarn.

The pattern is charted (the charts are…intense - for lack of a better word, but doable as long as you’re rested and keep your place on the charts).

The gauge is merely a suggestion and was measured on the washed, blocked, dry, finished shawl.

The bigger needles were only used to do the bind off.

Beads can be added to your shawl - here’s what I’m doing on the second one I’m knitting. The pattern does NOT specify the placement of beads, but knitters are a creative bunch, and I’m sure you’ll come up with great ideas on where to place the beads.

To have a centered decrease when doing a k5tog you can:

slip 3 sts as if to k3tog, k2tog, pass slipped sts over (the central st will be on the top of the other ones)
slip as if to knit, slip 2nd st as if to knit, k3tog, pass slipped sts over (the central st will be at the bottom)
