This hat was designed because I wanted to make a Fibonacci hat for my math-geek dad and I wanted the sequence to begin at zero.
The pattern provided assumes you know how to knit a hat. My intention is simply to describe when to change colours so that the stripes follow a Fibonacci sequence and when to do decreases on a worsted-weight hat so that you finish with 8 stitches.
