Truffle is a half circle shawl with a lace border. It is warm and cosy shawl, perfect to wrap around your neck and shoulders. The body of the shawl is made in stockinette stitch with garter stripes at the end of the body. This shawl can be knitted in different yarn weights to different effects. The shawl will be worked top down, the sample is worked in a beautiful yarn Silky merino lace from Zagroda with Lace Scrumptious from Fyberspates (garter stripes). The design has been created for beginner and intermediate knitters.

Materials: 2 skeins of Zagroda Silky merino lace, 75% merino superwash, 25% silk, 100g/800m (875 yards) – MC – yarn held double. Several meters of Fyberspates Scrumptious Lace, 55% Merino, 45% Silk, 100g/1000m (1094 yards) – CC – yarn held double.
US 1 ½ (2,5 mm) circular needle, 40” (100 cm), blocking pins and wires.
Blocked Gauge: 22 sts / 36 rows = 4” in Stockinette stitch
Gauge is not very important, but will affect yardage needed and finished measurements.
Finished Measurements: After blocking the shawl’s measurement will be approximately 195 cm wide x 40 cm deep (78” x 16”).
