ABOUT TRUMAN THE T-REX:
→ Truman is adorably fierce with his little pointy tail, big head, and stubby little arms. He can be crocheted in different sorts of yarn to make him just the right size — in 8/4 cotton, he’s small enough to fit in your palm, but brave enough to take on the world!

THE TALE OF TRUMAN THE T-REX

Once upon a yarn, in a cozy corner of the craft room, a tiny T-Rex was stitched into existence — with stubby arms, a big heart, and a roar that sounded more like a giggle.

Everyone expected him to be ferocious, like the dinosaurs in books. But this little T-Rex didn’t care for stomping or scaring. What he really wanted was hugs.

He tried giving one to the stuffed otter… but his tiny arms couldn’t reach.
He tried wrapping them around the slithering snake… but he just rolled off.
He even tried hugging the pincushion, but ouch! — not his best idea.

One day, he saw a new creature sitting quietly on the windowsill: a shy little bunny made of soft grey yarn.
The bunny looked nervous, all alone — until Truman addled over and gently leaned his head on her shoulder.

No arms needed. Just heart.

From that day on, the other toys understood: he wasn’t a scary dinosaur at all — he was a snuggle-saurus.

And every time someone new arrived on the shelf, guess who was the first to welcome them with a head-tilt and a toothy little smile?

That’s right.

Truman the T-Rex. The fiercest friend you’ll ever meet
