It’s my very favorite thing when simple design elements come together to create a stunning result! These socks are just that for me. I love the retro vibes, clean lines, and the nod to classic tube socks. I also love how the herringbone heel flap makes such a statement! These are the perfect socks to knit for anyone! I hope you enjoy knitting them as much as I have.

The Tubular Socks are a very simple knit! Written Instructions are included as well as a Chart for the colorwork. The colorwork portion is easy to remember and even well suited for a beginner colorwork knitter. I have knit my sample with a tubular cast-on, but you may also use the German Twisted Cast-On. These are the only two cast-ons I will use for socks. They both produce a strong, stretchy edge.

Materials Needed:

  • 2 skeins (70-100g) of Brooklyn Tweed Peerie in “Muslin” for the Main Color.
  • 4 (5-10g) Contrast Colors of Brooklyn Tweed Peerie in “Firebrush”, “Seaglass”, “Burnished”, and “Loam”
  • Size 1 (2.25mm) needles. I use 9” circulars for the entire main sock and dpn’s for the toe.
  • Stitch Markers
