Elise wird von der breitesten Seite hin zur Spitze gestrickt. Das Tuch wird durch Zunahmen in jeder Hinreihe am Reihenanfang und -ende mit je 1 Zunahme, sowie in der Mitte durch eine besonders schöne Zunahmetechnik geformt.
Nach der Mittelmasche wird das Tuch gegengleich gestrickt.
Den Rand bildet ein I-Cord in der dunkelsten Kontrastfarbe.

Das Tuch wird dreifädig in der jeweiligen Farbe gestrickt. Du kannst die kleinen Knäuel sehr gut trennen, indem du von innen heraus den Knäuel in ca drei gleiche Stücke (2 x 8,5 und 1 x 8 g) teilst. Eine digitale Haushaltswaage oder eine Briefwaage ist hier hilfreich.

Die Farbe Offwhite ist die Grundfarbe, die zwei Kontrastfarben a 25 g werden gem der nachfolgenden Anleitung eingestrickt, die dritte Kontrastfarbe mit 2 x 25 g bildet zusätzlich noch den umlaufenden I-Cord Rand.

Du kannst natürlich die Farben variieren, wie es dir am besten gefällt.

Elise is worked from the widest edge toward the tip. Shaping is created by one increase at the beginning and end of every RS row and, in addition, by a special increase around the center stitch. After the center stitch, the shawl is worked mirrored. The edge is finished with an I-Cord in the darkest contrast color.

The shawl is worked with three strands held together in the indicated color. To divide small balls, pull from the center and split into approx. three equal parts (about 2 × 8.5 g and 1 × 8 g). A kitchen or postal scale helps.
Offwhite is the main color; the two 25 g contrast colors are worked in as given below; the third contrast color (2 × 25 g) also forms the all-around I-Cord edging. Feel free to vary colors to taste.
