A perfect gift for any new baby, boy or girl! This hat is a modification of the adult-sized Grandma Vi’s Hat with a slightly tighter fit and a doubled brim that makes the lace pattern a mock cable design.

Making both the hat and mitts requires two skeins of laceweight cashmere (with enough left over for a small bonus project!). Making just the hat requires only one skein of yarn.
