Materials
400—yards fingering weight yarn.
We used Cape May Fiber Co Sock (450yds/100G, 75% Superwash Merino Wool, 25% Nylon):
Color Limited Edition Naturally Dyed Red Cabbage (shown in light blue)

We also used Cape May Fiber Co Yak Sock (437yds/100G, 70% Superwash Merino Wool, 20% Yak, 10% Nylon):
Color Marina (shown in teal)
- US Size 4 (3.5mm) 24” circular knitting needle.

OR

  • US Size 8 (5mm) 24” circular knitting needle.
  • 1 stitch marker
  • tapestry needle

Gauge
22 sts = 4” (10cm) in tuck stitch on US Size 4 (3.5mm) knitting needle in fingering weight after blocking.
OR
16 sts = 4” (10cm) in tuck stitch on US Size 8 (5mm) knitting needle in dk weight after blocking.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
