Tukan (German for toucan) is the third pattern of Sockvent 2025 - a pattern collection dedicated to the animals of Africa. Every sunday in advent I will publish a new pattern.

This is an easy pattern for fraternal socks - you swap the colors for the second one to get socks that look like fraternal twins. Not the same, but easily to recognize that they are from the same tribe.

There is a small pattern in stranded colorwork - great for practising your colorwork, because you do not have to take care of catching any floats. If you are new to colorwork, I recommend to use a needle size bigger for the colorwork parts.

Tukan ist die dritte Anleitung aus dem Sockvent 2025, eine Sammlung von Anleitungen, die den Tieren Afrikas gewidmet sind.

Es ist eine einfache Anleitung für sogenannte fraternale Socken - bei der zweiten Socke vertauschst Du die Farben. Damit erkennst Du, dass es sich um Socken aus dem gleichen Paar handelt, obwohl sie sich sehr ähneln.

Es gibt ein kleines, zweifarbiges Muster, das super geeignet ist, enn Du das zweifarbige Stricken zunächst üben möchtest. Keine langen Spannfäden und nur wenige Runden machen es zu einem tollen ersten Projekt!

Die gezeigten Socken sind aus Chatham Lane Sock von Townhouse Yarns (75% Merino, 25% Wolle) in den Farben Bonfire (Braun) und Improve (Natur).
