CONSTRUCTION
The cardigan is worked top-down, starting from the back shoulders following the chart. Begin with short rows to shape the shoulders, then work the armholes. Pick up stitches from the shoulders to work the fronts. Shape the neckline, work the armholes, and join the fronts with the back at the underarms. Continue working the body in pattern. Pick up stitches around the armholes to work the sleeves in the round. Finally, pick up stitches along the neckline to work the neckband and finish.
