Tulip Hanging Plant Pot
The Tulip Pot is such a cute way to display and hang your favorite plants! Its finished size is roughly 6” high and 6” diameter, so it will accommodate a 6” pot. Intermediate crochet knowledge is helpful, but if you’re not familiar with Puff V-Stitches I’ll explain it thoroughly in the pattern. When I started making hanging planters I was frustrated by how much the pot would stretch once a plant was in it. When you use yarn and crochet the cords that the pot hangs from it’s bound to have some give, so I figured out a way to incorporate pretty chains that compliment the cotton yarn colors I was using. To make this, you will need the following materials:
• 1 skein of Yarn Bee I Love This Cotton or similar worsted weight cotton yarn
• H 5mm Hook
• Needle to Weave Ends
• Scissors
• Measuring tape
• 72” of chain cut into 4 equal 18” lengths
• (4) 8mm grommets in matching color and tools that come with grommets
• (1) S hook in matching color
• (8) 10mm jump rings in matching color
This pattern is written in standard US crochet terms. If you run into any issues at all, please don’t hesitate to convo me!
