About
The Tulip Twirl Skirt is a fitted mini skirt with all-over lace and a ruffle hem.

The Tulip Twirl Skirt is worked top-down in the round starting with the waistband. The half twisted rib waistband is double layered by working a seamless elastic casing. Eyelets are worked at the center front for the ties.

Then, increases are worked to shape the hips of the skirt. There are three options for the hip sizing to create a perfect custom fit. Once the desired length is reached, stitches are rapidly increased for the ruffle. The ruffle is worked in the round on the larger size needles for extra drama. Then, German Short Rows are worked to lenghten the back of the skirt.

Finally, the ruffle is finished with a purl detail to match the waistband and stitches are bound off. Lastly, an I-cord is worked and added to the waist.
