Tulips - when their vibrant colors light up markets, gardens and flower shops, spring is finally here!

The beautiful bell-shaped calyx of the tulip was the inspiration for the pattern on these hand warmers. A combination of Lace Pattern and Stockinette Stitch adds variety to the knitting. With their breezy Lace Pattern these fingerless mitts are the perfect companion for spring!

Level: Intermediate

Sizes:
Size S/M: For hand circumference 16,5 – 18,5 cm
Size L: For hand circumference 19 – 21 cm

Materials:
Original yarn: OVILLO „Ovillo Socks“ (75% Merino, 25% Nylon, yardage = 425 m/100 g) in color „Sanddüne”

Alternative yarns: Fingering and light fingering weight yarns or 4-ply sock yarns with yardage about 437 – 465 yd = 400 – 425 m/100 g; solid colored or semi-solid.

Needles: DPNs US 1 – 1.5 / UK 13 – 12.5 / EU 2,25 – 2,5 mm, or needle size to obtain gauge.

Notions: 2 stitch markers

GAUGE: In Stockinette St.: 31 sts and 45 rs = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4‘‘).
