YARN & YARDAGE
You can use any DK yarn you like :

• Background color yarn : 60 (75, 90, 110, 130, 140, 150) meters / 65 (82, 98, 120, 142, 153, 164) yards
• Green yarn : 10 (10, 15, 15, 20, 20, 20) meters / 11 (11, 16.5, 16.5, 22, 22, 22) yards
• Tulip color yarn : 10 (10, 15, 15, 20, 20, 20) meters / 11 (11, 16.5, 16.5, 22, 22, 22) yards
• (Optional) 20-40 for the pompom, depending on the size you want it to be

NEEDLES

• 3 or 3.25mm (US 2½ or 3 ) / 40cm (16”) circular needles for the ribs
• 3.5mm (US 4) / 40 cm (16”) circular needles for the body You can use longer needles with magic loop method, or double pointed needles.

GAUGE
30 stitches / 29 rows = 10x10cm / 4x4 inches in stockinette stitch on larger needles
