About:
The Tullycross Hat is named for a small village in County Galway, Ireland. This tranquil, little village is dotted with traditional thatched cottages and is situated on the Wild Atlantic way coastal route in Connemara. It has stained glass windows by renowned artist Harry Clarke that overlook the square. And an ancient Ogham Stone; the script spells out the name of the townland, Gurteenachough, meaning little garden of stones.

Tullycross is picturesque with lots of little things to look at just like this hat. As a whole, this hat is timeless but when you look closer you see twisted stitches, texture, and a good bit of stockinette.

Designed for your favorite single skein that feels too precious to use. With an option to add some mohair to make it warm, and super soft. This hat will give you a fun, easy, and wearable project to indulge in. The design allows the colors in your skein to shine and will mesmerize you as these colors play through your fingers while you knit.

It’s suitable for a confident beginner but engaging enough for a more advanced one. It’s a quick stash-busting project available in three sizes but written for options for weights of yarn.

Whether you knit one for yourself or make several to gift, it’s a fun, easy project to keep your hand occupied at a time of year that keeps your brain so busy.
