The Tunisian Cable scarf is part of a 4 piece Tunisian Cable collection, which also includes a headband, hat and fingerless gloves.

Although the pattern is written for one size, 24cm wide and 154cm long excluding fringe or 178cm long including the fringe. Additionally there are notes for adjusting the scarf size too, to make it longer or shorter.

The pattern contains a photo tutorial for working Tunisian cables so if this is something you have never tried before, don’t let that put you off, you will be able to work it with the tutorial. As long as you know the Knit and Purl stitches you will be able to work this pattern.

I made mine using 2 strands of Aran/worsted cakes to give a chunky feel. Mine are 20% wool which gives a little more stretch than 100% acrylic, but either should work well. You can either use a chunky yarn or 2 strands of aran like I did. The pattern uses an 10mm Tunisian crochet hook.
