Long walks through the woods and down by the beach, jogging in the park, Sunday strolls with mans best friend.

This handy little purse is perfect for it all! From busy moms chasing toddlers, to hard working women on the go! Made using the sturdy Tunisian crochet stitch this smart looking little purse has the perfect hand, plenty thick enough to keep everything in place, yet soft and light weight enough to be really comfortable. A great quick weekend project that will really make your life easier.

This little purse really is the perfect size to keep all your basic essential close on hand. The two pockets are the perfect size to carry your cell and a small camera, or a few credit cards and some cash. A great first project for trying out the Tunisian crochet stitch.

Finished measurements are adjustable but are written to fit an average cell, android, iphone or small camera.

Finished measurements are 3 X 5” to 3 1/2 X 5 1/2”

Gauge: Four stitches and four rows = one inch.

Materials
This is a perfect stash buster project for using up odds and ends and scraps of yarn.

You will need less than one skein each of a main color and a contrasting color yarns in a dk to worsted weight yarn (this project is pretty darn forgiving).

One size H Crohook, circular Tunisian crochet hook, double ended Tunisian crochet hook, or hook to obtain appropriate gauge. (If using double ended hook follow directions in hook instructions for working in the round.)

You will also need 2 buttons about 3/4” in diameter and some leather straps or extra yarn to make a strap. I like using ¼ inch deer skin straps. I like a four strand braid for a soft and pliable purse strap.
