Tunisian Crochet Patchwork Blanket
Tunisian Patchwork Blanket
A colorful Tunisian crochet blanket made with leftover self-striping yarn and join-as-you-go panels.
The Tunisian Patchwork Blanket is a fun way to transform leftover yarn cakes into a beautiful, cozy blanket with a patchwork appearance.
This intermediate Tunisian crochet pattern is worked in six vertical panels using the Tunisian half double crochet stitch. Each panel is joined to the previous panel as you work, eliminating the need for sewing the panels together afterward.
The self-striping yarn creates the colorful patchwork effect naturally, so there’s no need to follow a specific color chart.
I made my sample using leftover Lion Brand Mandala cakes in Lochness, Banshee, and Werewolf, but you can use your favorite self-striping colors or experiment with different combinations from your yarn stash.
