Ripple Blanket Crochet Pattern

This crochet pattern is for making a lovely ripple blanket or Afghan, to keep you warm and cozy in those chilly months ❄

The pattern works well with two colours, but you can make your blanket as colourful as you like.

The pattern is repetitive after the first few layers, so you can relax with it and continue crocheting to any size blanket you choose.

You can also follow the principles of this pattern to create a pretty scarf, cowl or table runner.

This is a really fun crochet pattern, using standard crochet stitches and the Tunisian simple stitch, which is described in detail.

This stitch is great to crochet; you will learn it in this pattern (if you don’t know it already) and could use it in your future projects.
*********************************************
The pattern includes 3 PDF files:

  1. Detailed step by step photo tutorial for the blanket.
  2. File without pictures for printing the blanket pattern.
  3. Photo tutorial explaining how to join new yarn without a slipknot.

All are written in US English terms.

It is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the pattern by following the photo tutorial first.
The printable version is best used when you already know the pattern.

Skill level: Intermediate, the pattern is highly detailed, beginners are welcome to try it

A basic knowledge of crochet techniques and stitches required.
