Please Note - Any size 4 medium weight yarn will work as long as you’re using a size smaller Tunisian hook than what’s recommended on the yarn

Directions for Tunisian decreases and Tss2tog are available at the end of the pattern, in both pictorial and written form.

For this project, I recommend Premier Everyday yarns, multicolor options. In the example for the pattern, I’m using Baby Bee Hushabye Ombre (pink baby camo). The cotton/acrylic mix makes it very easy to see each of the stitches, and I like using natural fibers. However, the Premier Everyday yarn is softer to the touch, which makes it more ideal for small children.

Curling is normal for this project. With crochet Amirugumi projects, it’s common to work yarn with a smaller hook. Since Tunisian is already tightly knotted, it curls similarly to what knitting will do, but it has the thickness of crochet which makes it an ideally soft and plush toy!
