Pattern is written in four sizes for shoulder-to-shoulder widths from 16” to 20”.

This pattern uses conventional and Tunisian Crochet techniques to create a three-tiered capelet with removable and reversible panels. The three panels are crocheted in the round using two-color Tunisian Crochet and a double-sided crochet hook. A ribbed cowl is then added to the neckline and two braided rope ties are crocheted and then used to weave the tiers together. There are multiple ways to wear this capelet: wear all three tiers together (as shown), wear only Tier 1 and the cowl for a warm neck warmer under a coat, or wear Tiers 2 and 3 together to create a pretty shoulder wrap. Former knowledge of Tunisian crochet in the round is helpful, but not required, in order to complete this pattern. My goal is to guide you through the process from start to finish even if you have never worked with Tunisian Crochet before.

The pattern includes videos, detailed instructions and large quantity of photographs to guide you through the creation process.

You will need two contrasting yarns and a double-crochet hook to complete this project. You can learn more about the double-ended hook that I used in my link bio links at: https://lnk.bio/kristensteindesigns
