Sock yarn is like no other kind of yarn. The colours are vivid, varied and just plain amazing. Often I am drawn to a lovely skein of sock yarn that is not suitable for socks. Either because it lacks nylon content and I fear it might wear out too quickly on my feet, or simply because it is just too beautiful to be hidden in my shoes. Why not wear that yarn on my head?
