Tuppence, a new romantic little flourish with a definite air of sophistication….

Create a bit of an old world look with the use of not one but two rich lace patterns here, both of which are a pleasure to knit. It makes for an airy, delicate design.

The pattern is written and charted for your knitting pleasure. The blocked measurements are: 64” in length and 14” in height.

Yarn
Element, DK weight with 2 to 3 colors, three strands of yarn, hand wound together in intriguing combinations. 220 yards a skein.
Used here was a full skein.
Plus a mini Element skein, 50 yards.

Notions used
US size 15 (10 mm) circular needle 36” (92 cm) in length.
Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing.

Gauge:
12 sts and 20 rows in 4” of Stockinette stitch, blocked. Knit loosely!

Techniques used
Knitting, purling, lace knitting, slipping stitches, stretchy bind off, weaving in ends and blocking.
