Tuppy is knitted on 4 DPN with the body being made in one and stuffed as you work, so you can see your dragon growing from the nose down. I use a size smaller needles than the yarn recomends as this gives a tighter stitch for stuffing.
He is knitted with two colours though only 100g of yarn is needed. He has a “line by line” pattern, so he makes a great pocket pattern that can be picked up and put down and each line ticked off as he grows. Legs and wings are made on the round as well and can be positioned and stitched on at different angles to give each “Tuppy” a unique pose.
He is stuffed with basic Kapoc stuffing but wheat could be used to add a bit of weight.
He includes mostly simple stitches with some “short rows” and fiddly “cast on” and “offs”.
