Turbulence sweater
This design owes its existence to the lovely Apmezga yarns in warm grey and yellow/orange. Nothing makes yellow pop like a grey background and the bobbles in the yoke makes it pop even more.
This sweater is a classic top-down yoked design. Starting from the collar you increase gradually until separating for sleeves. The body is worked straight and finished with seed stitches. Sleeves are slightly tapered and end with a simple colorwork section before finishing in seed stitch.
The yardage is around 84% MC (grey) and 16% CC (yellow).
Notions:
3.5mm / US4 circular needles of various lengths, down to 40 cm / 16 inches. You will need DPNs to finish the sleeves. Stich marker and some scrap yarn to hold sleeves after separation.
Techniques:
Knit, purl, increases, decreases, bobbles (instructions given), reading a simple colorwork chart.
Testers rated pattern difficulty 2/10.
