A 4” tall woolly turkey. This woolly bird was created in response to my vegan friend who wanted an inedible turkey for the Thanksgiving table. 

For an ADVANCED INTERMEDIATE knitter. There is some great technique in this pattern, including a heel turn knitted flat and short row shaping, both of which are fully explained in the pattern

SKILLS REQUIRED:
Knit
Purl
Pick Up and Knit
K2tog Through the Back Loop
K2tog
P2tog

MATERIALS REQUIRED:
US Size 3 needles (3.25mm)
US Size 3 (3.25mm) double pointed needle
1/3 of a ball of brown Double Knitting yarn (approximately 60 yards)
Cream Double Knitting yarn (approximately 10 yards)
Orange Double Knitting yarn (approximately 4 yards)
Handful of fiberfill (stuffing)
Tapestry needle
2 buttons for eyes (3/8” diameter)
