This pattern is available for $4.00.

The pattern features a hand-made wooden button from www.woolymossroots.etsy.com.

For knitting the hat I used 1 skein (150yards) DK-wool-yarn from our sheep at Timberwolf Farm and 1 skein mohair/silk yarn from Debbie Bliss-Angel Prints ( less then half a skein is needed).

You will also need:
1 pair of straight knitting needles #9 (5.5mm)
1 16in circular needle #8 (5mm)
1 set of 5 double-pointed needles #8 (5mm)
1 button about 1 1/2in across
1 tapestry needle to weave in the ends
1 round marker

Size: women medium to large

Gauge: I knitted the swatch using the DK-wool-yarn and needles #8 (5mm).

This pattern is for personal, non-commercial use only.

If you are interested in our yarn (Timberwolf Farm) I can send you information about what we have available at the time. Since we are selling at local markets, availability of our yarns varies. We have 2 alpacas and 11 sheep. We carry sport weight and DK (light worsted) yarns in white and different shades of gray. Some of it is spun and blended by hand. I also dye yarn with plants from our garden (indigo, coreopsis, madder, marigold, weld) and with acid dyes from the Greener Shades brand.
