Spice up your seasonal decor with this hand towel reminiscent of autumn’s changing leaves. A striking yet simple hand towel design that includes three separate leaf motif appliqués means that you can customize this hand towel to get the fall look you want.

There are three leaf motifs within the pattern.
Leaf 1 (oval): 2” x 1.25”
Leaf 2 (oak): 3” x 1”
Leaf 3(maple): 2” x 2”

For the hand towel, I used approximately 300 yards of the main color (Linen) and 40 yards each for the contrast colors (Fiesta, Sunbaked, Butterscotch, and Mushroom). Each appliqué used approximately 2 yards.

The hand towel is crocheted in rows, while Leaf 1 and Leaf 2 are started with a foundation chain of which you then work on either side. Leaf 3 is crocheted in a magic ring.

This pattern can easily be adapted for other sizes and the motifs can be used for other projects as well!
