Let’s go a little bit sideways!
The Turning Point Cowl features geometric cube and speckle designs worked in fun-to-knit Mosaic Knitting.
This cozy cowl uses two or more colors of DK weight (CYCA #3) and is the finished project of the 2025-2026 Mystery Cowl Knit Along. The Turning Point Cowl is a bias-knit piece. Since the cowl is worked flat on the bias, it’ll need to be either seamed, grafted, or worked as a 3-needle bind off (your choice!) to connect it.
Techniques Used:
Cast On (either provisional or long-tail)
Bind Off
Yarn over increase
SSK decrease
Slipping stitches for mosaic knitting and an i-cord border
Grafting
3-Needle Bind off
Check out my YouTube video playlist for tutorial videos that will guide you through many of the techniques used in this cowl.
