Turtle Pumkin Shell
Designed as an interchangeable shell for my Turner The Turtle pattern (sold seperately).
Designed for medium, weight 4 yarn with 3.0mm hook. Written in US terms. Stem and Bottom written in the round.
Stitches used: Sc- single crochet, Inc- two single crochet in same stitch, Hdc- half double crochet, Hdc Inc- two half double crochet in same stitch, Dc- double crochet, Dc Inc- two double crochet in the same stitch, Dc Dec- yarn over, insert hook into first stitch, yarn over, pull through two loops on hook, insert hook in second stitch, yarn over, pull through two loops on hook, yarn over, pull through remaining two loops, St(s)- stitch(es), Flo- front loop only (the loop closest to you), Blo- back loop only (the loop farthest from you), Mr- magic ring (could also use the ch 2 method), Slst- slip stitch, Slst Inc- (used for attaching Stem, but you may attach by sewing Stem to Top if desired) two slip stitches using the same stitch of the Stem but different stitches of the Top, Ch- chain.
Suggested colors: brown, orange, green.
Materials needed: worsted weight yarn, yarn needle, 3.0mm hook, and scissors.
