Yarn:
1,050 yards of worsted weight yarn for small/medium – Add 150 yards for large/X-large.

Pictured shawl is made from Simply Soft Shadows, 0005 Soft Merino color and it took 7 skeins.

Needles all 29” or 36” circular knitting needles:
Size 6 (4 mm)
Size 9 (5.5mm)
Size 11 (8mm)
Plus Size 10 straight needle for bind off row.
Or any size to obtain correct gauge.

Notions:
Yarn needle to finish seams
Package of safety pin or split ring markers

Gauge:
20 sts = 4”; 28 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch (Knit 1 row, Purl 1 row) using size 6 needles.

Special Stitches:
SK2P: Sl 1 st as if to Purl, K2tog, pass the sl st over the K2tog.
Project Notes:

Because the cast-on edge must be stretchy (for use at neckline), you may wish to use a larger needle size to work this row.
Circular needles will only be used to knit back and forth.

Finished Measurements:
Approximately 33” wide slightly stretched by 18” long folded in half.
