Describtion

The sweater is worked top-down, starting with a dropped-shoulder construction. After shaping the shoulders, the work is joined in the round and continued with increases as for a circular yoke, allowing the colorwork to flow seamlessly without interruption. The design features a double neck and a mock turtleneck.
After the yoke is complete, the work is divided, and the body and sleeves are knit separately while continuing the colorwork. The entire sweater is worked in two-color stranded knitting, but at the point where the blue transitions into yellow, a third (white) color is introduced. This three-color section is optional — an additional chart is provided with the white removed for working the motif in just two colors.
The sweater is knit using two yarns held together: a ingering/sock-weight base yarn paired with a lace strand of mohair, giving the fabric an airy, lightweight feel — very warm yet pleasantly soft.
