Wanting to make a gift for a little boy’s turtle-themed room was the inspiration for the design of adorable, all-boy, Poke Turtle, dressed in the colors of the room. This soon blossomed to another, more feminine, frilly, darling turtle, Shelly. Sitting approx. 10 ¼” without their sweet removable hats, both are knit in the round, using #4-worsted wt. yarn. They have movable arms and legs and are ready to “get up and go” for some fun! With their sweet smiles, they’re hard to resist! You will also need: 10.5mm toy safety eyes, size 4 (3.5mm) 32” circular knitting needles or double-pointed needles, removable stitch markers, large-eyed blunt needle, long straight pins, & polyester fiberfill stuffing.
