Tweed Bear is an old bear that has been played with a lot. He has often fallen apart. Fortunately, his paws are now attached with buttons, so he is still a nice playmate. And if at any time it is needed again, an extra patch will simply be added.

About this pattern

  • Pattern construction: First crochet the snout and sew the nose on top of it. Next, crochet the ears. After that you’ll crochet the head and body of the bear in one go. While crocheting the head of the bear, you need to sew the snout onto the head and also place the safety eyes. After finishing the head and body, you need to crochet the front and hind legs and sew those to the body with the crocheted buttons. Finally, you crochet a tail and sew that to the body of the bear.
  • Use the step-by-step photos: Please make use of the step-by-step photos to position the parts. You can pin the parts in place before you sew them to the bear.
  • Counting rows: The designer always uses a piece of yarn in a contrast color to crochet together with the first stitch of a round to count rounds. You can also use a stitch marker or row counter to make counting easier.
