TWEEDY LACE got its name from the beautiful tweed yarn by Woolissime which I used for this sweater.

It is made from the bottom up, first the body and the sleeves are worked separately and then joined together at the circular yoke.

The range of ease across all the sizes is 9-11 cm/3.5-4.5”. The picture shows size 2 with 11 cm/4.5” of positive ease.

YARN:
TWEED FINGERING by WOOLISSIME (85% Merino, 15% Donegal Nep), 400 m/437 yds in 100 Gr
Grams: 325 (390, 420, 505, 535, 610, 645, 690)
Metres: 1300 (1560, 1680, 2020, 2140, 2440, 2580, 2760)

NEEDLES:
• 2.5 mm/U.S. size 1.5 60 cm/24” circular needles or your preferred needles for knitting small circumference in the round (neckband)
• 3 mm/U.S. size 2.5 80 cm/32” circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
• 3 mm/U.S. size 2.5 circular needles or your preferred needles for knitting small circumference in the round (sleeves)

NOTIONS:
• stitch holders or waste yarn
• main marker and smaller markers for chart sections
• tapestry needle or crochet hook to weave in ends

GAUGE:
one repeat of CHART 1 (17 sts/20 RNDs) = 6x7 cm on 3 mm/U.S. size 2.5 needles after blocking

PATTERN NOTES:
