I had some left over yarn after I knitted a cardigan in garter stitch. Just enough for a pair of thumbwarmers (or half mitts if you like). These thumbwarmers are in garter stitch, and short rows are used to shape the thumb. Left and right is identical.

Size: Short(long), width is adjusted individually.

Note: The wrap in each turn for the short rows is knitted together with the next stitch on the following row.
