Is it a twist? Is it a cable? Maybe it’s both! Let’s just call it a twible and cover our bases. This hat will keep you toasty warm with its deep turned up brim and squishy texture.

Sizing:
Child – fits approximate 19” circumference (Adult – fits approximate 22”).
Both sizes are very stretchy and will fit slightly smaller or larger heads as well.

Supplies:
Yarn – 1 skein Madelinetosh Tosh DK 225 yards/4 oz skein– samples shown in Silver Fox (child) and Grasshopper (adult)
Note – the adult size took almost every yard of the skein. Consider having a 2nd skein on hand if your gauge is off.

Needles – US Size 7/4.5mm or size for gauge, 16”. Same size DPNs or needle type preferred for small circumference knitting.

Notions – Stitch marker, cable needle, and tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Gauge:
22 sts and 30 rounds/4” or 10cm in stockinette
30 sts and 32 rounds/4” or 10 cm in cabled pattern
