These fingerless mitts feature a lovely lace pattern that looks like the branches of a tree, and a deep, comfortable gusseted thumb. You can make the mitts longer by adding more pattern repeats at the start (they are worked from the bottom, up).

They are designed to fit a small/medium lady’s hand, but they have plenty of stretch. If you your hands are on the larger side, cast off really loosely using a bigger knitting needle than the pattern suggests. The pattern also includes a note on how to adapt the design for larger sizes.

A pair of mitts takes no more than 200 metres of yarn. Make the mitts longer by adding more pattern repeats at the start.

The pattern includes written and charted instructions.

Please note, this is a free pattern so pattern support is not offered. Direct messages on Ravelry are not checked. Thanks for understanding.
