The Victorian era was a period in history in which society began to embrace a sense of romanticism towards the arts and social life. Inspired by the poets of this period, Twilight and Evening Bloom is a square lace shawl the gently echoes the romantic ideas of the time.

This shawl is worked in the round from the inside out and will have a square shape when completed. Pattern is for experienced knitters and comes with both written and charted instructions.

Finished Measurements (after blocking): 45 inches x 43 inches

Needle: US Size 5 (3.75 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.
You will need DPN’s to begin (or magic loop)and then switch to circulars as the shawl grows.

Yarn:
Knit Picks Alpaca Cloud Fingering
(100% Superfine Alpaca; 200 yds/50 g): Elizabeth, 5 skeins. 1000 yards total.

• Stitch Markers- make sure you have one that is different to mark the beginning of the round.

Gauge: 6 stitches & 8 Rows = 1 inch in stockinet stitch
