Twilight Toque

Grab that special skein of hand-dyed worsted weight yarn and get ready to make yourself something truly special. The Twilight Toque was designed to showcase the beauty of hand-dyed yarn, capturing all the flecks of colour and semi-tonal variation in a flattering stitch pattern.

Available in 6 sizes with instructions for beanie or slouchy fit, this pattern is for everyone. It can also be customized if you like a little or a lot of slouch!

You will need:
5mm crochet hook
Worsted weight yarn
Tape measure
Scissors
Yarn needle
Stitch marker (optional)

A note on Slip Stitch Ribbing:
The beautiful, wide brim is a result of slip stitch ribbing, a technique that creates a stretchy brim with a knit look. It requires you to use loose stitches, and takes some time to complete. Go slowly, the end result is worth it, I promise! You may wish to practice with larger yarn and hook if you’ve never done this stitch before.

Thank you so much for your support! I cannot wait to see your finished masterpieces. Use #TwilightToque and tag me on Instagram @capital.crochet to share your makes.
