This beautiful sparkly evening wrap will be the perfect addition to your wardrobe.

While visiting my beautiful friend Kathryn, we were looking at some yarn and thinking about what we could make with it. This particular yarn is a stunning 50/50 blend of camel and silk. But the really special thing was that it came with some amazing sparkle thread. I brought it home with me and looked at it for a few days thinking about what it would become.

One crisp autumn evening, under a stunning sunset I thought about how I could make this beautiful yarn into a very special evening wrap and just like that the design began to form in my mind. With a sensual sparkle that glittered in the setting sun I knew she would become a very special addition to any wardrobe.
Soft as wind and glowing like dew caught in the rising sun, the magical glimmer of the sparkly yarn really shines through each and every stitch. Twisting like a meandering path through a moonlit park the two contrasting bands pop and create a magical cable look. As she was laid down the shawl shimmered like a million stars.
I am sure you will enjoy creating Twilight Twist, while this pattern can take a bit of time and patience one thing is certain: Twilight Twist was never just a shawl. She is a whisper of magic, created from the love of my craft and this beautiful yarn. Made to wrap you in warmth, magic and love.

This is a one size wrap and gauge is not really necessary, I had about 5 gms of each colour left over. I used a 4.5m hook.

This pattern calls for a 4 ply fingering, the yarn I used is from The Australian Wool Store a 50/50 camel, silk blend and is absolutely scrumptious to work with. The meterage is 466m per skein.

I used 2 skeins of the main colour and 1 skein of the second colour.
