I designed these mitts after making the Rockefeller Shawl designed by Stephen West. I had left over yarn and wanted mitts to go with my shawl, but couldn’t find a pattern; hence Twill Mitts were born. I call them Twill Mitts after my new home away from home , my local yarn store “Twill” in Nashua, NH. Thanks to owners Sandy and Susan for their support and friendship. These mitts start off by creating an I-cord, then picking up stitches to start the cuff. They are finished with a corrugated rib pattern which is bound off in 2 colors to give a great bound off edge. ENJOY!
