Twill Ripple Cowl
A full bodied cowl crocheted with the distinctive texture of this chevron crochet stitch, is achieved by working stitches between posts and alternating rows with two colours.
The cowl is worked sideways in ROUNDS on the RS to form a long tube that goes around the neck to create a double thickness fabric. Colours are alternated and the unused colour is carried up the chain at the start of the next round (instructions provided).
Pattern Format:
Pattern is written in US crochet terminology and includes photos and access to video instructions for all key techniques.
Gauge:
Per chevron pattern repeat: 8cm
2 rows in pattern: 4cm
Finished dimensions (when worked to specified gauge):
Laid Flat - 24cm high & 28cm wide
When worn - 24cm high & 56cm circumference
Difficulty:
Easy - main stitch is double crochet (UK treble), working in the round. Video instructions provided for all techniques.
