This blanket was a gift for my soon-to-be-born godson (I love you, Beni) and I liked how it turned out so much that I decided to write up the pattern.

The stitch pattern was created by Kristen McDonnell (Twin Sails Stitch) and I wrote the blanket instructions to accompany it. The only size included is the baby blanket (75 x 100 cm), but it can easily be adapted to knit other blanket sizes by adding multiples of 12 stitches and rows to the pattern.

DIFFICULTY
Beginner to Intermediate. This pattern is ideal for knitters who are comfortable with knit and purl stitches and want to expand their skills. More experienced knitters will enjoy it as a relaxing, contemporary project.

SIZE
The completed blanket measures approximately 75 × 100 cm, but the pattern includes instructions for increasing or decreasing the size to suit your needs.
