Twining is a fully reversible cowl with traveling cables that twine gently around it. The size small is a single loop, the medium is taller, to keep out those brisk winter winds, and the large is long enough to wrap around your neck twice.

Knitted in the round in dk-weight yarn, this cowl’s cables and textures make it a fun and interesting knit. The smallest size is ideal for a quick gift. And because both sides are identical, Twining is easy to style, beautiful from every angle.

Sizes: S (M, L)
Circumference: 25 (25, 50)”/64 (64, 127) cm
Height: 9.5 (16, 9.5)”/24 (41, 24) cm

You will need:

  • approximately 290 (440, 580) yds/265 (402, 530) m of dk-weight yarn
  • US size 5/3.75 mm circular needle (or one size smaller than size necessary to achieve gauge), preferably 16-24”/41-61 cm long for sizes S and M and 24-32”/61-81 cm long for size L
  • US size 6/4 mm circular needle (or size necessary to achieve gauge), preferably 16-24”/41-61 cm long for sizes S and M and 24-32”/61-81 cm long for size L
  • cable needle
  • 7 (7, 13) stitch markers, one in a contrast color
