What says Christmas more then a star or gingerbread, well a gingerbread star.

Tis the season, be prepared to see numerous Christmas themed patterns.
And for anyone that knows me you guess mine will most likely also be linked with food, and this one is no exception. In germany were i live for the moment, these cookies are part of the tradition and will necessarily end up on your plate at some point. So why not make it part of the decor.
Techniques you will need : Intarsia, short row, kfb, k2tog, grafting

The size of you finished object will vary depending on the yarn and needle you will choose.
You will need :
• 50g brown yarn
• 50g white / beige yarn

For your reference this is the size of my samples :
• Needle size : 2,5mm
• Yarn : Schachenmayr - Catania
• Gauge : 26 sts & 42 rows in garter stitch
• diameter at wider point : 40 cm
• diameter at narrower point : 25 cm
