A festive throw pillow to complement any holiday decor!

This textured throw pillow is crocheted in the berry stitch—like a bobble, but smaller, the berry stitch creates a small textured bump on the front of your work. Each berry stitch sits in between the two berries below in a stitch pattern called the Uneven Berry stitch.

The front of this pillow features a Christmas tree pattern, designed with the Uneven Berry stitch. The trees’ twinkling lights are added after crocheting is complete, using an embroidery technique called French knots. The back of this pillow is single crochet.

This pattern includes instructions to stitch in a zipper closure so you can remove the pillow form at the end of the season for easy storage! This pattern is designed to fit a standard 20” × 12” pillow insert or you may use stuffing.
