The short rowed hem makes for a lovely swishy hem on an otherwise fitted skirt. Jacket is not included in the pattern. It is shown to display what a great suit this skirt can make.

YARN, GAUGE SIZE AND MACHINE
wool crepe deluxe from BT yarns. Skirt finished to 44” hip requires 18 oz. 8 stitches and 12.5 rows per inch. Stitch gauge is less important than row gauge for this project. Length is 27” without yoke and 31” with yoke. It can be made shorter by using fewer needles and omitting the yoke. It can be made longer by knitting a longer yoke. Any size can be made by varying the number of repeats of the straight rows/short rows segment. The pictured jacket is NOT part of the pattern.
