This fun hat is perfect for Aran weight yarn with variable texture or color that gets lost in more complicated patterns. Traveling twisted stitches form a spiral on the body of the hat, and a twirl of I-cords tops it off.

Skill level: intermediate (traveling twisted stitches and I-cord)

Size: 20” brim with snug head fit. For a larger hat, use chunky yarn.
